Anthony has been serving as a Trustee for the past two years and is currently the Board’s Vice-Chairperson and Chairperson of the Budget Committee. Anthony has become fully immersed in the role, actively participating on several committees, attending parent conferences and completing professional development modules related to the role of a Trustee.
As a Trustee, Anthony has fully embraced his role to further understand and advocate for his community with the ultimate goal to help develop a world-class education system. He continues to champion for student and parents’ rights within KPR and is always striving for accountability in all Board matters.
Trustees are responsible for establishing policy direction and ensuring funds are implemented correctly. Anthony supports continued efforts to improve mental health services across KPR and is a tremendous advocate for equity and diversity at our schools so that all students feel welcomed and supported.
Anthony is a proud husband and father to three boys who attend KPR schools. He has lived in Cobourg with his family for the past five years and have become fully immersed in the community, enjoying the high quality of life that Northumberland offers. Professionally, Anthony brings with him over 10 years of urban planning and policy expertise, having worked in the private sector, in Provincial Government and currently with the Regional Municipality of Durham. Anthony has a Bachelor of Environmental Science in Geography, from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Science in Urban Planning & Management, from Aalborg University, Denmark.
Anthony is honoured to serve his community at the KPR Board and looks forward to continue and advocate for all students.
