Keeping Schools Safe, Clean and Ready for Learning!

#We are KPR banner

KPR custodians work diligently over the summer to ensure our schools can, once again, open their doors to students, staff and families in the fall. Thanks to their hard work cleaning and maintaining school properties throughout July and August, students return to an environment in September that is safe, clean and ready for learning.

Kelly works seamlessly with custodial team colleagues to ensure educators and administration staff have everything they need to support student success, and that day-to-day school activities can run safely and smoothly.

“The main role here is to create a safe space for staff and students first and foremost. Inspections are always done, because in the end, it has to be a safe place for everybody,” says Kelly.

Motivated by the energy and friendly atmosphere, Kelly enjoys interacting with the students and seeing their smiling faces in the hallways.

“There's a lot of high fives and storytelling. That's what keeps me going is these little guys in here, they're a lot of fun! It's just a great place to be,” she shares.

A very special thank you to Kelly and all custodians for their #WeAreKPR spirit and continued work throughout the summer so that students and staff can experience a safe and happy start to the school year!
