Updates for Families: March 6, 2025

Updates for Families banner

Dear KPR Families,

The beginning of March is an exciting time for many reasons, with so much going on in our classrooms and schools leading up to the March break – and of course, the promise of Spring just around the corner!

Thank you to KPR’s incredible students for your continued motivation and commitment to learning, kindness, and positive energy that you bring to our schools daily.

As we celebrate Social Work Week, I invite you to join me in recognizing KPR’s Mental Health Clinicians and Professional Services Staff. Offering support and resources during times of challenge, supporting individual student needs, and always looking for ways to promote well-being and remove barriers to learning – these individuals make a meaningful difference in the lives of students and contribute towards supportive and mentally healthy school cultures.

This time of year also brings many days of significance and celebration, which we continue to highlight through KPR’s social media channels @kprschools. Among these are Black Mental Health Week from March 3-9 and International Women’s Day on March 8. Ramadan also continues throughout the month, beginning on February 28 at sundown and ending on March 31 at sundown and we are mindful of this important time in the Islamic calendar, observed by Muslims.

I hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable March Break.

Sincerely,

Rita Russo,
Director of Education
