As Trustee for the Municipality of Clarington, Paul Brown advocates for the highest quality equitable education for all students. He is committed to ensuring that all Clarington schools use the best authentic and culturally relevant teaching and learning practices. He firmly believes that schools must have optimum learning and working conditions in order to promote the highest levels of student growth and achievement. Effective schools are central to the growth of strong communities, and as such, he maintains that schools must support and be accountable to the communities that they serve.
About Paul Brown
Having worked for 34 years as a teacher, school administrator, and school board administrator, I am passionate about public education. As Trustee, I bring this breadth of experience to the school board to ensure that all Clarington schools provide rigorous, equitable, and inclusive learning opportunities that prepare students for the challenges of the future.
First elected as Trustee in 2022, my committee work currently includes:

- Program Review Committee
- Special Education Advisory Committee
- Student Alternative Learning Committee
As Trustee for Clarington, I am your representative and voice on the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board. I welcome your input on all issues concerning public education in the Clarington region.
