About Sean Conway

As Trustee for Alderville, Curve Lake, and Hiawatha First Nations, Sean Conway (Curve Lake First Nation) recognizes the importance of supporting excellence in Indigenous education at all KPRDSB schools. Trustee Conway has a background in public policy, education, and Indigenous governance; serving as an elected official, an educator, and in various management roles for First Nations organizations. Appointed to the board in 2022, Trustee Conway serves as Chairperson of the Indigenous Education Advisory and the Indigenous Education Service Agreement Committees; also as a member of the Resource and Audit Committees. He is grateful for the opportunity to serve all learners, families, and local First Nations communities.
