School Calendars

KPR students, staff, families and community members are invited to provide feedback on the proposed 2025-2026 school year calendar through the following survey. The survey will be available until February 2, 2025.

School Year Calendar 2025-2026 Survey - Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board

Highlights of the proposed 2025-2026 calendar include the following:

• The first day of school for students is Tuesday, September 2, 2025.   
• The last day of classes before winter break will be Friday, December 19, 2025.
• The proposed winter break is from December 22, 2025 - January 2, 2026, and students will return to class on Monday, January 5, 2026.
• The proposed March Break is from Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 20, 2026. ( Friday, March 13 is a proposed designated board holiday)

Highlights of the 2024 - 2025 School Year Calendar include:

• 1st day of classes - Tuesday, September 3, 2024
• Last day of classes - Thursday, June 26, 2025
• Winter Break - Monday, December 23, 2024 (Friday, December 20, 2024 will be the last day of school) through Friday, January 3, 2025 (Monday, January 6, 2025 will be the first day of classes)
• March Break - March 7 to March 14, 2025
