#KPRFirstDay Photo Contest
Between September 6 – 13th post a photo of you or your child’s first day back to school on social media to be entered into a draw for a KPR Prize Pack and one of two $50 Gift Cards to Chapters/Indigo! For full contest rules and important safety reminders, see below.
Contest Rules
- There are four ways to enter:
- Post your photo to Twitter with the hashtag #KPRFirstDay and tag @kprschools
- Post your photo to Instagram with the hashtag #KPRFirstDay and tag @kprschools
- Post your photo to Facebook with the hashtag #KPRFirstDay and mention @KawarthaPineRidgeDistrictSchoolBoard
- Email your photo to kpr_info@kprdsb.ca with the hashtag #KPRFirstDay in the subject line

Please only submit one entry per student. They must be a student attending a KPR school (for complete list of schools, visit the Find a School page on our website).

The deadline for contest submissions is September 13, 2022 at 4:00pm.

In order for your Social Media Entry to be valid, make sure your post is public and not private.

The winners will be selected randomly and contacted directly through the social media account or email they use to enter the contest. The winners will be announced September 16th.

Contest participants give KPRDSB permission to use their, or their child’s, name, picture and/or post and to display, publish or distribute this content for the purpose of posting on the KPR website or social media.

By participating in this contest, participants understand that their submitted content may appear in electronic form on the internet, in print or in other publications outside of KPR’s control. Participants agree that they will not hold KPR responsible for any unauthorized reproduction.
General Safety Reminders

Please note that KPR social media pages are public sites. If you are under the age of 18, ask your parent or guardian for permission before posting anything online.

While participation in the contest is completely voluntary, we remind those who choose to participate to practice online safety and protect your private information. This means engaging in social media positively, responsively and safely.

Please ensure that no personal or identifying information is included in the post or the background of the picture (e.g., student name, grade, class, school, home address etc.).

It is not a requirement that #KPRFirstDay photos feature a child or student or their face specifically.

For students and families who prefer not to share photos online, they have the option to participate in the contest by submitting a photo directly by email to kpr_info@kprdsb.ca.
